CLP's
What is CLP?
Classification, Labelling & Packaging
This is a Government Regulation that covers all hazardous substances, which includes things such as Fragrance oils and Citric acid, and has been in place since 2009.
CLP applies to all products that contain a hazardous substance, such as fragrance oils. The CLP label must include:
Product name and fragrance name.
Warning pictograms and information, if applicable.
Allergen information.
Supplier name, postcode and telephone number.
This information must be visible without opening the product and available at time of purchase, so if buying online it must be provided on the website.
All our non-cosmetic products are CLP compliant (Cosmetic products have different rules and labelling criteria which we also adhere to) and we are fully insured. You can find CLP information for each scent within the General Information tab at the top of the page.
Cosmetic labelling
Cosmetic products, such as Bath bombs, Salts, Body Butters, Lip Balms and Perfumes to name just a few, must also follow labelling criteria to abide with UK law. In addition to the above, all ingredients must be listed in order of %, instructions for use, warnings and exclusions, Batch number, Expiry or Best before after opening and weight if not a single use product.
This information must be visible without opening the product and available at point of purchase. If the product is too small to contain this information on the label of the product itself, the open book symbol is used to reference buyers to either an included reference document or the online buying platform. We provide this on our product pages within this website and on our products, size dependant.
IFRA
What does IFRA mean?
IFRA is The International Fragrance Association
IFRA is the official self-regulatory body of the fragrance industry, with it's main purpose to ensure the safety of fragrance materials through a dedicated science program. IFRA publishes lists of usage for fragrance materials, limiting or prohibiting the use of ingredients, based on the findings of the Research Institute of Fragrance Materials. Our products adhere within these safety levels.

OUR PRODUCTS:
*Please note that our products may vary slightly in colour and finish due to the nature of being handmade.
Wax Melts
Our wax melts are made with Coconut and Rapeseed wax which is sourced from Non GM, renewable and sustainable crops, contains no Palm, Soy or Additives, and is Vegan friendly and Biodegradable.
The scent throw from wax melts can vary greatly depending on burner used, tea light quality, room size, room temperature, draft and quantity used.
It is not unusual to see 'smoke' coming from the wax pool. What you are seeing is not actually smoke but fragrance vapour being released from the melt.
To clean away the melt after use, carefully either use cotton wool balls to soak up the wax, or allow the wax to cool and harden, then gently warm the bottom so the wax loosens and can be removed as a solid piece.
